Minecraft Slime spawning is broken

I used it and now have a nice 16*16 slime farm and have killed over 300 slimes

The reason Slime spawns on the surface of superflat seeds is because Slime will spawn anywhere between Bedrock and 16 blocks above. Superflat worlds are only 3-4 blocks above bedrock.

UPDATE:

* I made a mistake about the skeleton spawn coordinates listed above, the closest skeleton mob spawner to the player spawn is:
(X: 42, Y: 25, Z: 49)

I can confirm this works; I successfully found slimes using the slime chunk closest to the player spawn. Be cautious of lava.

Oh I think this is what I was thinking of..

-There's a line in the code that's meant to allow tiny slimes to spawn on Peaceful, but the natural spawning algorithm skips hostile spawning entirely on Peaceful. As a result, this line won't even be reached. -Minecraft Wiki.
