Minecraft Slight Frame Lag

We understand that you are experiencing poor framerate while playing Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on your computer. Let us look into this together to get you back to gaming.

First, we recommend that you make sure your drivers are updated. It looks like your particular computer has an Nvidia GeForce graphics card. You can update the drivers within the GeForce Experience Hub or by navigating to Nvidia’s website and downloading the drivers manually.

Next, we recommend that you make sure your computer is completely updated to the most recent version of Windows.

If the problem persists after updating both your computer and your graphics drivers, please follow the community suggestion below that has helped others with this issue.

• Download the most recent version of Java to your computer. When it is downloaded, locate your Windows search bar in the bottom left of your screen and type “Control Panel”. Hit the Enter key to launch the Control Panel dialog box.
  
• In search bar located near top right corner of Control Panel screen, type “Java” and click on Java icon. From this dialog box, select the Java tab in top ribbon and then select “View”. In the runtime parameters box, double click to edit and then copy/paste this code: -Xincgc -Xmx2048M
  
• Next, select “Ok”, then “Apply”, then “Ok” again. Close Control Panel and launch Minecraft and see if this issue persists.

Hey there Roger,

To my knowledge there should not be a discernible difference in framerate playing from a USB as opposed to hard drive.

A few questions to help us clarify:

• Do you notice this difference only while driving?
• Does this happen while playing a certain game?
• Are you able to try playing from a different USB or try your USB in a different port?
  

Please let us know and we'll go from there.

Yea it sometimes crashes after the game is finished but it only takes 30secs to boot back up, 30 seconds every 45mins isn't a massive problem. Some slight lag issues. Overall I would say it's just plain epic - 64ppl at 60 frames per second is what I see.

I have had it intermitently whilst playing the DLC maps too.

the DLC maps havnt been to bad for me its the original maps that are getting the fps lag.
