    Minecraft Servers Xbox One S


    Hi All, my boys are after joining a server on their xbox but we can’t seem to get the ‘add server’ or ‘search server’ options, it just has a few featured servers but they want one called crazy pig? Any help appreciated!! We do have live gold if that helps....

    Hello. I own Minecraft XBox One edition as I bought the XBox One S that came with it. I now own an XBox 1X. All my games tranffered except Minecraft.

    So basically, I upgraded from XBox One S to X and seemed to have lost Minecraft as a result.

    So game comes with Xbox One S bundle can't be transferred to Xbox One X?

    Hi Super!

    Thanks for posting, the reason that Minecraft is not allowing for these functions seems to be attributed to the lack of an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Xbox Live Gold is needed to play any multiplayer functions in any game, this means that all games that
    have a single player option are playable but, if a multiplayer option is there, a gold subscription is needed to play it.

    Hi Ezra, many thanks for your reply. We do have the Xbox Live Gold subscription which is why I can’t understand the option not being there. It will let them join the featured multiplayer servers okay, we just can’t search for any others... hope that makes
    sense?

    Unfortunately, such worlds cannot be found on the console as some of these worlds were created on a PC and are not compatible to the Xbox One console.

    On the console, users send their friends invites to user created worlds/servers that are only available to console users. In this instance, Crazy Pig is a server that was created on the PC.

    This MCXONE: Servers website located at the Minecraft Forums
    details Xbox One specific servers.

    Try this out and let us know if there as an option to join the servers listed there.

    How do I transfer files from my Xbox One S to my PC?

    you cant access the files on the one S, you cant even transfer the world from xbox to pc, you will have to create a brand new world and host this from your server, i had to do the same so i now run a minecraft server for my kids that is always there when
    they want to use it, remember to create daily backups of the servers files.
