minecraft server lost our maps after xbox replaced.

My xbox one failed after over a year, received a new one. I loaded minecraft no problem, when I pressed play game it would not sync...said my previous xbox was still syncing. I could either try again (which did nothing) or revert to last save...which I
eventually did. And BOOM a large bulk of my sons maps are gone. He had saved them and used them repeatedly over the last few months. ( I also use an external but those maps save on the cloud) Called Microsoft and didn't get an answer...HELP PLEASE!!!
Are the maps gone forever or can they be retrieved? Thanks everyone!

minecraft server connection problem

i am getting the connection to server lost returning to main menu......question will we eventually be able to get back to playing our minecraft....other question if we all had gold memberships would this be an issue....this only happened after the minecraft
update....is that a reasonable cause of this.....

I can't play online with friends on Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition

Around one week ago (7/10/13) a friend tried to join my Minecraft session and he couldn't connect no matter what: we restarted our routers, shut off and turned on our Xbox 360s, and re-downloaded Minecraft but nothing worked. Now today I attempted to join
another one of my friends' session and couldn't. It was open but the side listing open servers said "No games found". It was a server of three of my friends, so I went to all three's profile and selected "Join session in progress", and after half of a second
or so of trying to connect, it says "Connection to the server was lost, exiting to main menu". Is it my router (I have a Belkin router), my Xbox? Minecraft? Please help!!!!

How did you receive your new one? Did you buy a brand new one? Did you send it in to MS to repair?

My family had the same issue this afternoon after we updated our kid's xbox - minecraft. We went to load a map after the update and it gave us "Connection to server was lost, exiting to main menu". However on a create new level it worked just fine.

Fix.

Had to start minecraft so it would recognize that the game was not trialware, pull the internet to force the play offline option to appear when starting the level and the level loaded. Had to pull the cable as the "Play Offline" option was greyed out.

Split screen also worked after that as well as it was also displaying some junk about the profile could not play with multi-player. I suspect this is due to the playoffline feature being messed up

I really feel that game companies fail to properly test these updates, and force us to be beta testers.

We just got this mod on the weekend for our xbox one. Just crashes back to the home screen after about 2-5 minutes. Reload back in and same issue. Jump into normal minecraft maps and other mods no issue.

Thanks for your help. The xbox is only a month old and has not done this before. Thankfully I tried to delete the Minecraft game and reinstall (after resetting the console as above) and that worked. We lost all our saved games but at least its working
again.
