minecraft says im a child account

when i try to add a credit card to minecraft to buy realms it doesnt let me saying im a child account(im not). it then says if i want to change this i need to go to my microsoft settings but when i go there i cant find any way to change this. i dont see a button that says "change accout from child to adult". its incredibly frustrating. does anyone know how to change this?

Are you able to change your Xbox privacy settings?

If you can, you are really an adult. If you cannot, you have a child Xbox profile. In this case, your parents will need to remove this limitation from your account or approve your purchase.

im having a problem with that, everytime i enter there it says "We are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found" and i dont know how to fix it

When I try to but Minecraft on my windows 10 but it says the same thing " why can't I change my privacy settings", I'm not a child's account and I've left the family on my account and it still says the same thing.
