    Minecraft save file borked

I just got my new Xbox One X. To test it out I was going to load minecraft(better together) and play on my survival world for a bit, but when it loaded, it loaded a months old version of my world. So I thought well ill try loading
it back on my original xbox one. It loaded fine with my current world, tried again on my new xbox and it was stillthe old world. So i tried looking up online how to transfer worlds and it was as I thought, that they were supposed to transfer through the cloud.
I thought I would try plugging my old hard drive back in to see if there was a possibility of transferring it that way. But when i loaded up minecraft that time it game me an option of 2 different versions of the minecraft save file to load, I loaded the one
with the older date and got the same version as i was getting on my new Xbox one x, I was like ****, unplugged my xbox one and waited, plugged it back in, tried it again and still got the old version of my survival world, months of progress gone.

Is there a way to get my survival world back?

Theory - minecraft hasn't pushed the save file to the cloud for a long time, so I ended up pulling down the cloud version from a long time ago. Perhaps it was even from before the better together update came out.

tl;dr - got new Xbox, new Xbox **** up my Minecraft save, have now lost months of work in my survival world

    P.S. I'm really pissed off

    :)

When i try to load my Minecraft world my xbox freezes.

    Try this:

Copy your save file of the world that won't load to another source, (USB, cloud, etc). Delete the original save file, and remove Minecraft from your console. Clear your console's cache. Redownload, and reinstall Minecraft. Copy the save file back to your
console. Now try loading the save file.

If it still freezes, that particular save file may be corrupted. Try creating a new game or loading a different save file. Is the freezing limited to just one save, or does it freeze on all saves?

Xbox Series X keeps Saying "We can't Save more Data for this game or app"

he has too many save files and has run out of cloud storage,

Bethesda games in Minecraft and notorious for large file sizes. Just stick with a few save Files and you'll be fine

Problem with a save from Minecraft!

The way to transfer your Minecraft save is you need to log into Minecraft on 360 and export for Xbox One. Then you can switch to Xbox One and import the save file.

Game freezes *constantly* in Act III

Sounds like a corrupt save file to me. Try clearing your cache, uninstalling the game from hdd(do not reinstall) and copy your cloud save to the console itself.

Doing this will give you the least amount of monkey wrenches in the way. If you can get act III to load then you know it was either the install or the cloud saves.

Edit: If however nothing works then the save itself is probably borked and you will most likely have to start over.

You may also try going into someone else's game and seeing if you can pass act 3 in their game

I’m trying to play on my survival world but it keeps saying it’s corrupted.

    Access Application Data\.minecraft\saves. ...

    1. Make a copy of the corrupted world folder & all files & folders inside, and rename it however you please. ...
    2. Start Minecraft and create a new world, then save and close Minecraft. ...
    3. Go back to Application Data\. ...
    4. Cut the files (but not the folders) from the new saved world folder.
