    Minecraft RTX doing weird texture things?


    So, I recently got the Minecraft RTX beta installed, and I encountered a problem. Every block texture is completely jet black. However, the game still runs right, and the lighting is beautiful, but the blocks are all black.

    First off, I have a nVidia GEFORCE RTX 2060, and it runs ray tracing on other games, like Resident Evil 2, no problem, but Minecraft is too much?

    If anyone has a fix to this problem, or experiences something similar, please let me know, because I really want to play with RTX on. Thank you all for reading, and just so you know, you are all beautiful people.

    RTX Beta won't show in the insider hub (legacy)

    I a'm sorry everyone, i have figured that RTX is now working under normal minecraft beta. Now this is weird so pls keep in mind if you play it and have the same issue

    Why we don't have a lot of games exclusive on xbox360!!!

    The surprising thing is that mojang are putting minecraft on the xbox, yet Moneysoft do not allow free updates, skins, texture packs very easily.

    Same issue. Due to the current pandemic situation. I missed the window to upgrade my Java version as well. This wasn't as widely spread as the whole RTX beta thing. I looked into the RTX for minecraft thing didn't see any mention at the time for upgrading
    for old java versions. Now it looks like Im SoL as well.

    WHERE IS RTX FOR NEXT GEN CONSOLES

    I know this post is a few months old but all I heard is RTX for Minecraft on next gen consoles have been pulled due to the fact that the current hardware would be unable to run the feature if they throw it out into the public now. There are certain games that have RTX on console but Minecraft is one of the most intensive games to run with RTX enabled. I just seen on the internet (not sure if it’s real) but it’s been said to at the RTX feature is in the testing phase right now. If we do get the RTX feature on console anytime soon it most likely won’t be until the next generation of Xbox come out in 2028.
