    Minecraft RTX - can't "upscale" so I'm stuck at 12fps


    I've tried everything I can think of, but the "Upscale" toggle is grayed out - I can't select it.

    Everything I've been reading says that the Upscale - DLSS 2.0 - will significantly boost FPS.

    Without it on, I'm pulling 12-16 frames per second, which is pretty much unplayable.

    Can someone help me out? What am I missing?

    I had the same issue, not being able to turn on upscaling and my performance suffered. Use your NVIDIA GeForce Experience app (controls drivers and global settings) to update your graphics driver to the latest version. My RTX 2060S was using a driver from October of 2019 - before the release of DLSS 2.0. If you don't have an experience app, just get it off the internet @ Nvidia's website and set it up. Then download the latest drier. Fixed my problem 100%!

    Have you downloaded the latest Nvidia Drivers? There was an update especially for Minecraft that added the AI Upscaling feature. After installing that, it worked for me.

    I waited for 24 hours, nothing happened, windows store did not want to download it, at last I *DELETED* windows & installed it again & it FINALLY worked!

    Hi CubeMasterRT,

    I suggest deleting the game then reinstalling, also when joining a beta in the Xbox Insider it might take a while for you to get access. hope this helps!

    yes i was able to fix it somehow i just kept reinstalling both Minecraft and the insider app and it worked
