    [Minecraft RTX] Activating ray-traceable resource pack


    I created a world to try to get some of the eye-popping effects of the sample. I saw a message that to enable ray tracing you need to be using a ray traceable texture pack. The default "minecraft texture pack" is active, which I think isn't ray traceable. I got the "Minecraft Classic Texture Pack" which should be. I don't see how to activate it though. Can anyone help me?

    [EDIT] I just saw a post below titled Quick instructions on creating a new RTX world. That may solve my problem. If so, I'll delete this post.

    [EDIT] No it doesn't. I have the Minecraft Classic Texture Pack loaded in my Global Resources under My Packs. Clicking on it to activate does nothing though. Do I have to create a whole new world to change texture packs?

    Did you create a world with a Ray Tracing pack and then try to activate RTX in-game settings?

    Just to be clear. Did you download a world/texture from the game marketplace, create your world and activate the pack in ''resources packs'', confirm, create the world and then go to the game settings to activate ray tracing?

    Serious FPS issues when using RTX in any game.

    It’s only Minecraft bedrock when I use the ray tracing feature on the RTX worlds by NVIDIA.

    If you are unable to turn off or delete a pack in Minecraft, you can try the following steps:

    Close Minecraft completely and restart your computer. This can sometimes help in resolving issues with the game.

    Launch Minecraft and go to the "Options" menu.

    Click on "Resource Packs" and find the pack that you want to turn off.

    Click on the arrow next to the pack to move it to the "Available" section.

    Close the Resource Packs menu and check if the pack is still active in the game.

    If the pack is still active, you can try the following steps:

    Open the Minecraft launcher and go to "Launch Options."

    Find the profile that you are using and click on "Edit."

    Look for the "Game Directory" option and click on "Open."

    This will take you to the Minecraft game files. Find the "resourcepacks" folder.

    Locate the pack that you want to delete and delete it from the folder.

    Restart Minecraft and check if the pack is no longer active.

    I have the same issue.

    Windows 11 just built in the last few days and updated to latest Beta build.

    Minecraft Windows 10 edition installed fresh this morning (after installing Xbox Insider etc. to try RTX then updating MC again).

    Go into the Marketplace find some resource packs for free to try RTX.

    Get them in my library, click on download, progress bar comes up at 0% and nothing happens.
