    Minecraft RTX 1.16.3 Crashing on Startup


    So I managed to leave the beta (I have been stuck in the RTX beta since months) and then RTX 1.16.3 gets released and I want to try it. So i re-enroll the RTX beta, after having uninstalled Minecraft. I re-install Minecraft and the game crashes on startup when the red Mojang logo is shown. If I quit the beta the game works fine.

    I tried to:

    • Uninstall with Get-AppxPackage -allusers *minecraftUWP* | remove-appxpackage -allusers
    • Run wsreset.exe from the powershell to reset the store
    • Uninstall graphic drivers with DDU (Display Drivers Uninstaller) from Guru3D
    • Reinstall latest game ready Nvidia drivers

    My laptop has a RTX2080

    The old RTX beta worked fine, I was stuck in it for months

    Xbox Insider Hub account locked with minecraft still in beta

    I have found a solution. After I deleted my original insider account I created a new one and joined the rtx minecraft beta other than the nether beta which was what I was in. I then updated minecraft to rtx and unenrolled and reverted back to the normal
    minecraft version.

    No, RS. There is no information yet if it will come for Xbox consoles but for now, it’s not available for Xbox series X|S.

    WHERE IS RTX FOR NEXT GEN CONSOLES

    I know this post is a few months old but all I heard is RTX for Minecraft on next gen consoles have been pulled due to the fact that the current hardware would be unable to run the feature if they throw it out into the public now. There are certain games that have RTX on console but Minecraft is one of the most intensive games to run with RTX enabled. I just seen on the internet (not sure if it’s real) but it’s been said to at the RTX feature is in the testing phase right now. If we do get the RTX feature on console anytime soon it most likely won’t be until the next generation of Xbox come out in 2028.

    Kindly repair the game by following the steps below:

    Settings > Apps & Features > Apps > Search for the game > Advanced Options > Repair > Restart your PC.
