Minecraft remote connect

I ha e never been asked to log into minecraft as its on the ps4. The remote connect login page doesn't show any gamer tag. Only asks you for your Microsoft login details. Email and password. I've downloaded the xbox app and logged in with the same details
to check and it's the correct account for when I had an xbox. But when using the same details on the remote connect for ps4 minecraft, it's logging me in with a completely different gamer tag and gamer tag picture.

To add to the issue I've logged out of that account on minecraft on the ps4 and tried again using remote connect on the laptop (to see if there's some issue with logging on with my phone) and after entering my email address and password, the ps4 minecraft
says that it will not log in with these details as I've already logged in with the gamer tag I don't recognise. It let's you sign out but it says I can only use that a account.

Are you familiar with the account that signs in to Minecraft? Is it a different Gamertag that what you expect?

When you log into Xbox.com with that email address you're using for Remote Connect, do you see the expected gamer profile account/gamertag, or is it the one you're seeing in Minecraft?

Hello " StellularBoar7 " Minecraft is normally 1 player on a regular t.v., But if you have a HDMI cable connected to your sons xbox you must turn on the second remote and press "Start" when in the game.

Do you mean the code given to you to connect your Microsoft account to Minecraft by remote connect?

When you try to play Minecraft online on PlayStation 4 or Nintendo Switch, you will be required to link your Microsoft Account to the game in order to connect to online multiplayer servers. As soon as you try to sign in it will show you a message asking you to go to the remote connect website and gives you the code to use there. So the code is in the message you receive on the platform.

Would you mind giving this a try?

- Go to Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features, and enable remote features for your console.

- Restart your console.

- If you haven't already, download the Xbox mobile app and link it to your console.

- Search for "Minecraft"

- Select "Download to console"

Please let me know if that makes a difference in your installation queue.
