Minecraft Refund (Xboxlive / PC )

I made a mistake of purchasing the Xbox live version of Minecraft instead of the PC version, I haven't downloaded, accessed or played the game. I've already requested a refund and it was denied, telling me that the refund policy does not allow refunds
for digital game products that have been played or consumed but how am I going to play an Xbox version of minecraft on my laptop? I can't even download the game. I need help and a refund please.

Definitely reach out to support with the steps provided above. That is your best bet and you'll be able to explain the mistake.

Bad news, and sorry to hear that. If you've already ask for a refund, the only way you have if it's denied is to explain the problem directly to someone to support i think. The best way to reach Live Support would be here: https://support.xbox.com/contact-us

Step 1 ----Select Xbox One
Step 2 ----Select See other options
Step 3 ----Select topic (Ex. System Update)
Step 4 ----Select "Show contact options"

Step 5 ----Select request a call from support

So your saying you purchased the wrong version of Minecraft. You purchased the Xbox One version instead of the Windows 10 version (Has Xbox Live integrated too btw).

You need to reply to the email you got, and explain you have not played the game, as you purchased for Windows 10 but mistakenly got the Xbox One version instead. Hopefully they will understand what happened and give you a refund.

i think minecraft will be a little better in xbox than in pc cause the xbox version beside now u can delete total miner on ur xbox cause guess wat minecraft is coming out for XBOXLIVE ARCADE

Exactly what I was thinking, CollapseControl.

I have Minecraft on PC, and absolutely love it, even though I only get about 16fps. (very basic PC) On Xbox, play will be smooth. Xbox360 is my primary gaming platform. None of my friends but two have the PC version of Minecraft, but are curious about it
now, because it will be coming to XboxLive.

Also, the flexibility will come in time. Once it is released, Mojang/4J Studios will be working on integrating the PC version's features one by one, and this will include support for texture packs, character skins, and mods.
