    So been trying to join or create a Minecraft Realms server for my son (I have an active subscription) on iPad but getting the following message "You cannot play online multiplayer because of how your Microsoft account is set up". However, the account has
    been setup to ALLOW on all settings so I'm really confused why it won't work. Interestingly, I signed in with his Microsoft account on a Win10 version of Minecraft and it works just fine - so the issue is limited to just the iPad version - note iPad restrictions
    were disabled so this does appear to be a microsoft account issue of sorts. Any ideas?

    It is more of a message than error but it says "You cannot play on realms because of how your microsoft account is set up. Please ensure your online saftey settings allow multiplayer and clubs. See instructions for changing these settings as aka.ms/MCMultiplayerHelp."

    I wanted to play Minecraft PS4 servers but when i signed into my Microsoft account i couldn't play servers because of the message that popped up "You cannot play online multiplayer because of how your Microsoft account is set up." please help me resolve
    this problem because i have nothing on my account restricting this type of play.

    Please send advice quickly as possible.
    I have the same issue with my children’s accounts. No matter what settings I change, they cannot play with me on my realm.

    This is infuriating especially since it’s only affecting minecraft. I can play other multiplayer games with them, though.

    It says

    "You cannot play <on Realms> or <online multiplayer> because of how your microsoft account is set up. Please ensure your online safety settings allow Multiplayer and Clubs. See instructions for changing these settings at aka.ms/MCMultiplayerHelp"

    I have clicked the submit button, and aka.ms/MCMultiplayerHelp does not work.

    Hi Belle, I'm back again. I successfully changed my date of birth, as well as my username, and it all shows up on Minecraft, however I still get the same prompt when trying to join a realm. "You cannot play on Realms because of how your Microsoft Account is set up. Please ensure your online safety settings allow Multiplayer and Clubs." I follow the link and it instructs to have a parent change these settings, but obviously, that wasn't the problem.

    I’ve “allowed” everything on the page it took me to but it’s still not working.
