    Minecraft Realms Unable to Join


    I have an issue when trying to join one of my friend's realms. Whenever I try to join his realm, an error message pops up that reads "You cannot play online multiplayer through Xbox Live because of how your account is set up. This can be changed in your
    privacy settings on Xbox.com." I have checked online, and my settings are set so that Joining and Creating Clubs is set to allow, as is the ability to play online multiplayer. In addition to this, my account is set to an adult account. I also checked the setting
    on my Xbox, and it has these same settings set to allow, so I should be able to Join the realm, as the club and multiplayer settings are both set to allow. Despite this, I am still unable to join his realm. Is there any way to fix this? I want to highlight
    the fact that all of my settings are set to allow, so I should be able to join. Please don't post a response advising me to change my settings, as I have the set correctly already.

    Hey CG thanks for keeping us in the loop!

    Since it hasn't been addressed yet we would like to add that a Microsoft Account once set up as a child has no way of graduating or upgrading to an adult account if it hasn't reached the legal age on its own. We suggest adding the account in question to
    a
    family     and changing the settings from the adult account to see if there is any changes and keep us posted so we can further assist in this or any other issue or inquiry!
    Thanks for helping me out. The account is already a part of a family. The adult account has the same settings enabled as mine and can join realms.
