Minecraft Realms renewal isn't working for me

So, I did the free 30 day trial of Realms on the Win10 version of Minecraft. We love it, so we want to continue to have it, but when I went to "extend realm" before the trial ended, nothing happened except that in my Microsoft order history there are two
purchases for "Minecraft Store Item 6" for $6.41 (I tried twice, before I realized something was seriously weird. ).

At that point, I just let the trial run out to see if it would then add time to the realm. It hasn't. My card hasn't been charged either, so today I tried to create a new realm, in case that was the issue. I had the options to do 30 day, or 180 day, and
when I made the choice I wanted and clicked to pay, a small Microsoft card/page came up and said please wait, or something similar. It looked very much like it was working, then, nothing else happened.

It just stayed on the screen showing the 30 day or 180 day choice. My card wasn't charged, my realm still says it's expired, and I've been all over google trying to troubleshoot.

Any help at all would be much appreciated, thank you.

Thanks. The purchases read as completed, so I've requested refunds, will update if that fixes the issue.

Even though the purchase show up try canceling the purchase and repurchase it there could of been a problem that occur towards the purchase. If that doesn't work contact xbox support and state your problem directly to them.

I figured out how to fix this, go into your Microsoft subscriptions and go to your realms subscription. Turn off auto renewal and then when the pop up asks if you’re sure you want to cancel auto renewal, say no. Then go back to your Minecraft realm after resetting the game. It worked for me!

I am indeed using Minecraft Java edition on the PC.

Logging in and out doesn't seem to be the problem. I think the marketplace is only accessible using the betrock/windows edition. I can go to the marketplace there and still purchase items through this method.

If I am logged into Minecraft Java edition and go to Minecraft Realms it will show me the option to renew a realm which takes me to minecraft.net (Profile>Wallet & Realms) where I normally renewed my realms for Java edition. For this, the payment option has been a problem. I remember being able to renew it using this method not too long ago.

Hi there, if you renewed your Realm in minecraft but still it doesn't renewed, try sign out your account in minecraft and re login, I hope is helpful
