Minecraft Realms not accessible for local xbox one players

My Realms world is not accessible for other local Xbox One (same machine) players, even though I am:

    • Sharing Xbox Gold on the machine
    • All local players are also xbox live family members

Outside of this specific issue with Minecraft/Realms, they are able to utilize all Xbox live features normally.

The issue doesn't occur if I am signed in and playing locally with them (although if I quit the game, all local players are kicked). These same accounts can access and play on Realms from a Windows 10 PC with no issue.

Mojang Support sent the following template reply to my request:

I'm sorry to hear about your problem.

The editions of Minecraft available on Xbox are supported by Xbox Support. They can help with things such as game installation, adding downloaded content, billing, network issues, and console troubleshooting. You can view country-specific ways to contact Xbox
    by visiting support.xbox.com/contact-us.

Bugs with the game can be viewed or reported by going to Where can I view or submit bugs?, and community technical
support resources can be found at Technical support resources.

    Best regards,

    Patrik S.

    Mojang Support

    Please advise, thanks!

    :)

  3. Unable to access worlds across XBox and Android devices

    Greetings!

What you are seeing is intended as worlds created on individual devices are created locally and accessible when the creator is logged in on that device, but they are not sustained online and therefore not accessible if the creator is offline on the device
    that created the world.

What you are referring to for the persistent world is a Realm.

Realms allow a world to be maintained online even without the host and owner being signed in or on the device that locally created it.

Realms are not stored locally like standard worlds and thus would be accessible from any invited account or the owner from any device.

For more info on Realms be sure to check out the
    Minecraft Realms page!

Hope that helps clarify and post back if you have any follow up questions!

Minecraft does still support 4 player local!

This should answer any realm Qs you have: https://minecraft.net/en-us/realms/faq/

    Hope that helps! :D
Do you need to pay for a realm to play 4 player local games?

Can't join Lan game on Minecraft

Make sure you are doing the following:

    Multiplayer Options

Minecraft (Bedrock) supports the following multiplayer options:

    • Locally hosted multiplayer world via LAN or Xbox Live
    • Realms
    • Servers (unofficial, third party server software)
Locally hosted multiplayer world via LAN or Xbox Live

Any world can be a locally hosted multiplayer world, and accessible to other
    Minecraft
    players.

To start, create new world or load an existing one. Then, select World Settings (pencil icon)
MultiplayerMultiplayer Game. If all players are on the same local network, you may also toggle on
    Visible to LAN Players.

Other player(s) can join the world by navigating to the Friends tab and selecting the world.
