    Minecraft Realms Multiplayer Error on Xbox One


    "You cannot play online multiplayer because of how your Microsoft Account is set up. See instructions for reviewing and changing your privacy settings at aka.ms/MCMultiplatyerHelp."

    I'm getting this error in Minecraft on XboxOne. I have the "Bedrock Edition". I would like to setup a realm for one of the worlds currently on my Xbox I have been playing with my daughter. On PC, I created a realm using the same Microsoft account no problem,
    but I cannot create or join realms on my Xbox. I've tried the following, as suggested the in the million other questions addressing this issue which seems to be a very common issue.

    • Checked my privacy settings, all were set to "Allow", I also tried setting them to "Adult Social"
    • Removed account from Xbox and signed back in.
    • Uninstalled Minecraft from the Xbox and reinstalled.
    • This is not a child account, never has been a child account, and has never been attached to a family account
    I don't know what else to try here.

    ask a few clarifying questions first.

    • Is this a child or adult account being used?
    • Does Multiplayer or Local work with the account?
    • Which platform is being used? PC (Windows 10) or Xbox One
    Please try the following: Remove account from Family.
    Then try to sign into another Microsoft account, then add the first account as an "Adult" family member. From there, try to see if it is possible to change the settings and save them this way. Also, please try another device to see if it is possible to change
    the Online Safety and Privacy Settings like
    a phone, tablet, console etc.
