    wont let me play online on realms or on servers on windows 10 edition. it says its because im on a child account but my account is not part of a family or a child account. i can play on servers on console or on mobile with the same account but not windows
    10. i have clicked the 'get help fixing this' button and tried changing the settings, but all settings already say i can play online and everything related to that. i have no idea why this is happening as i was able to play online yesterday, i havent changed
    anything on my account either.

    This usually means you need/or the server needs to be updated because the versions don't match. If it is a realm, the realm owner need to update the server. Or you need to update your version of Minecraft.

    It seems to me that possibly the problem is more focused on the compatibility of the server with the edition of Minecraft you use. Minecraft Java Edition servers do not accept Minecraft Bedrock players, or vice versa. It is the same thing that happens with Minecraft Realms, for example. There are separate Realms for each edition of the game for the simple fact that both editions are different and not compatible with each other.
