Minecraft Realm - Broken after attempted backup

So I was playing on the realm with some friends, died and lost everything in lava and noticed there was a 3 minute backup before. I attempted to upload it there but it failed, and then all of a sudden we couldn't even join the world, nor can we reset it, use the other 2 slots, or anything - it is entirely broken. I've contacted support but based off of other comments I have no hope in the outcome of that, does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?

I was extremely concerned to see virtually the exact same issues from 4 years ago, when is Microsoft going to fix this?

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you're having issues downloading your Minecraft realms on your PC.

Is there a specific error message that you can share?

To download Minecraft realms in Bedrock edition, please follow this:

Start Minecraft.

Select Play.

Select the Edit Realm icon next to your Realm (box with the checkmark).

Click the world slot with the Realm you want to download.

Select Edit world.

Scroll to the bottom of Game Settings and click Download world.

To download an older version that’s been automatically saved, select Backups and choose the file to download.

It would be hard to determine exactly why this happened; it's likely a rare bug.

Servers do not make backups by default, you'd either need to use a backup plugin, or a Minecraft Realm instead.

What device/platform are you using to play Minecraft?

I believe that your Realms subscription got expired before it was renewed. It would basically create a new realm.

In this case, try to create a backup or download your previous Realm and upload it to your new one.

In Minecraft for Windows, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, or mobile devices:

Select Edit Realm in the Realms
Select the option to Download World.

From the new Realm game settings (at the bottom of the page):

Select Replace World
Choose the backup you’ve created of your previous Realm.

I see you mentioned you have backed up the realm?

Do you mean you have tried to restore the realm from a previous backup?

Also try to uninstall Minecraft and then reinstall it and try again
