    Minecraft Question About going from Xbox 360 to Windows 10


    Can my Xbox 360 game/world saves be transferred to Windows 10 saves? If so, how is it done? Do I need to do anything to make the transfer happen, or should I see my old game saves appear automatically after I purchase the Windows 10 version
    and start it up?

    Hey there, SnappyBark0! Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta is only available free for users that had the original Minecraft: PC (or Mac) Edition. If you only have the Minecraft: 360 Edition, you will not be able to get the Windows 10 Beta version for free.

    Impossible to get my free code to activate Minecraft Windows 10 edition

    Hi, I bought minecraft Java edition few days ago, after, I'm trying to get my free code to activate the windows 10 edition on my Mojang Account but there is no code!!

    I tried the next day but same error.. I sent an email to the Mojang Support, this is the answer :

    Transferring account from 360 to Windows 10

    While there are some "Play Anywhere" titles, that allow you to buy a game once, and play it on Windows 10 and Xbox One, there are no Xbox 360 titles that would transfer over to your Windows 10.

    And to make matters worse, as Smwutches already said, Minecraft is not a Play Anywhere title either, so there are already two reasons why you can't get Minecraft on your Windows 10 from your Xbox 360 purchase.

    However, if you purchase the Java Minecraft on Mojang, you will also get a code for the Windows 10 version.
