Minecraft PS4 new kinds of sign in problems

So the first time I signed in, I had no problems that everyone else claimed to have. I couldn’t figure out how to change my automatically assigned Microsoft username and in my stupidity I signed out of the PS4 version.

I created an Xbox profile, changed the password, etc. It let me sign in for a split second, then booted me out and told me there was an error because I was linked to the automatically signed username despite it being the same Microsoft account. I tried to
change the gamertag back but its telling me i cant have more than 12 letters.

My email is the same, its the same account but now I cant sign in at all.

Is there any way possible to be able to use my Ps4 mojang/Microsoft email on my new ps4 with the same Email that I've been using. Because I want to use my Email to sign into my ps4 minecraft.

As of this afternoon I am having the same problem. Can access Xbox, microsoft online ect but ps4 wont sign in with minecraft. Same error message “We tried to sign you in to your Microsoft account, but something went wrong.”

Same problem on PS4, with Plus.

authenticating into Microsoft seems to affect my PSN status. I show as signed in on my machine, and in my son’s PSN, but not in his Minecraft.

very frustrating.
