Discus and support Minecraft prompts me to log into my microsoft account, but the Minecraft doens't recognize... in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; So I get prompted on the Switch to log into my Microsoft account.     Minecraft prompts me to log into my microsoft account, but the Minecraft doens't recognize...


    So I get prompted on the Switch to log into my Microsoft account. So I do, with the code from Minecraft's interface, plus my Microsoft password. Unfortunately, Minecraft does not recognize it, and still prompts me to log in again. I am not sure who's
    problem this is, but it seems it is incumbent on those firms involved to solve the issue.

    I filed under Xbox, because that was the only thing close. But to be clear this is Minecraft played on a Nintendo Switch, under a Microsoft account...say that three times fast.

    Minecraft Launcher login issue

    I don’t think it has to do with that. When I log into the Minecraft website it says that I have Minecraft purchased, it won’t let me log in with this account into the Minecraft launcher. Whenever I click log in with Microsoft or I click on my account to log in, it says that there was an issue while logging in.

    My original account was hijacked a year ago and my email associated with that account was removed.

    No, my account was created long before even considering buying Minecraft and when trying to log in there (that is, to account the game was purchased on) i'm prompted to log in to Microsoft account which I do not have access to. I have already sent out a recovery request but it was unable to verify me as the original owner of that account.

    I think i just lost 100$+

    The screenshot i showed is the proof that i had a microsoft minecraft account and now i can't log in anymore it like if it got delete and i need to create a new one and buy minecraft java and bedrock again so like 80$ + i bought thing in some minecraft server and i lost progress. And i bought this minecraft java account In December 2020 so like 1 week or so after microsoft bought mojang so it is a microsoft account but idk if microsoft recognize it as a microsoft account.

    thank you for your answer. I disagree. The problem is with a Microsoft account within minecraft. The issue is definitely with Microsoft.

    In Minecraft on switch there is a button to logout from Minecraft. When you login again, the authentication of the first Microsoft account which was logged into is prompted. There is no possibility to change the Microsoft account.

    There is an additional button "Delete Microsoft account login data". If this is pressed you are asked, if you are sure. If you press yes, nothing happens. Nothing has changed with login either.

    Can you help us, please?

    Issue is, I connected the Switch Minecraft version with my adult Microsoft account. Now my son is old enough and I want, that he logs into the switch with his own account. But I cannot change the Microsoft login account of switch minecraft. :-(
