Minecraft privacy settings

I have setup an xbox account for my daughters, both of which we have control over due to their age.

One has mentioned a World she joined earlier is no longer accessible and a privacy setting is reported against a local account which will need to be amended to permit, or just play a local.

Having checked the dashboard, she's logged in and the privacy setting is set as child (no customising) so has something changed for said world?

Having read around, some people mention Minecraft settings, some dashboard and some account so without changing anything I thought I's ask first what requires changing to allow her to access. I appreciate, and correct me wrong that maybe worlds maybe are
setup to allow only certain privacy levels.

I don't want her access age restrictive content but the message reported is rather ambiguous and I'd like to know which specific setting to change so I can assess for myself

Can't submit privacy settings

Xbox.com won't let me submit my privacy settings! I want to play Minecraft with my cousin but it won't let me because of my privacy settings! Please fix this!!

I can not change the Privacy and security on the network to play Minecraft PE

Are you trying to save privacy settings in your profile or for Minecraft?

meeeeeeee!!!! Every time I try to join a server, it says above the servers area that "you need to check your privacy settings" but I do that everyday because XBox doesn't notice that we never wanted it to
bond with Minecraft in the first place.

I understand you need help with your Privacy settings.

Please check if you can access them here:

Please check if all your Privacy & Online safety settings are set to Allow/Everybody.

Make sure you also toggle on the settings to be sure (Set to friends then back to Everybody) and submit changes.

Just to confirm you've done this through the parent profile in charge of the family account? If you don't know how to set up a family account the link explaining how to do that is here

And you've done all this as well?

Go to account.xbox.com website. Log in under your account.

Go to "privacy & online safety" page.

on the page you should see your profile and your child(s).

click on the child profile pic, it should be green now.

click the "Xbox One Online Safety" tab.

Allow everything but "buy and download".

Click save at the bottom!

click the "Xbox 360 Online Safety" tab.

allow the first 2 "Accept Friend Requests" and "Online Gameplay".

make sure you click save.

Have you tried doing a hard reset/power cycle on your console.

Press and hold the Xbox logo on the front of the console until it switches off, waiting atleast 30 seconds before switching it on again.
