Minecraft Pocket Edition, unable to connect to friends world.

Please check that you set your worlds in the settings to allow friends to join your worlds.

Also go to
https://account.xbox.com/settings and check that you are allowed to play online multiplayer and view other people's creations.

If you go to that page and get a text explaining how to add a child account to a parent account, you need the help of an adult.

The adult should then go to
https://account.microsoft.com/family and add your account to their family account, if not already done so.

Ask the adult to go to https://account.xbox.com/settings then and sign in with their parent account. Then have them select your child account and have them make the necessary
changes.

I don't think i did it right because it still doesn't work. Here's my port forwarding page on my router

if you have tried all of those and its not working it could be that the ports needed for xbox live are not open and blocking you from connecting the ports below must be open for xbox live to work.

These ports must be open for Xbox Live to work:

• Port 88 (UDP)
• Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
• Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
• Port 80 (TCP)
• Port 500 (UDP)
• Port 3544 (UDP)
• Port 4500 (UDP)

I had a similar issue, and it seems three things helped resolve it:

First, my friend was too far away from their WiFi access point. After he moved from his own room to the living room (where the WiFi router was) we could connect.

Another time, I had a corrupt resource pack installed. I had to go to the settings, and reinstall all resource and add on packs I had.

After that, I was able to connect.

And thirdly, when I played with two of my friends, it made a difference in which order we connected.

When the two were already playing, I was unable to join their world.

When I connected to friend A first, and then friend B joined, it worked.
