    I have been playing minecraft with a friend, and sometimes when they try to join the world (using split screen, not through their own Xbox) it will sometimes delete his inventory and everything he has in his ender chest. Every time I leave the world, I
    save and leave with both controllers. Is there anything I am doing wrong, or any way to prevent this?

    To play two player split screen you will need an HDTV, simply turn a second controller and sign in, upon signing in, hit the start button and the second controller will be able to play split screen minecraft with you :)

    Thats correct. Minecraft requires an HDTV for you to be able to play split-screen.
