Hi, when if buy Minecraft for Wondows 10, can I play also on the xbox one or I have to buy the game again?

I searched a play anywhere edition without success and I have not the xbox one yet.

    Thank you.

    :)

  2. Minecraft and Play Anywhere

The Xbox version is still missing a lot of features. It doesn't make sense for the two versions to crossover. At least not yet.

  3. Minecraft Windows 10/Xbox

Minecraft Xbox One Edition or Minecraft (new version) are not Xbox Play Anywhere. It means you have to pay again to play it on the Xbox. You can find more info on the Xbox Play Anywhere games here Xbox Play Anywhere | Xbox

    Minecraft Play anywhere

Currently Minecraft is not a Play Anywhere title. So you would have to buy the game for the One if you want to play it there and/or buy it for the PC if you want to play it there. If it does become a Play Anywhere title, you can buy it through the Xbox Store
or Windows Store and redownload it for free on the other platform. You can read more about Play Anywhere >here<

The game NOW being cross platform should be a xbox play anywhere. I only really want this due to the fact that using the chat on Windows 10 to do commands is much simpler. But on xbox one if you have someone inn your world they have to do a very long and
annoying text JUST TO TELPORT. It's even worse when using a command block due to the fact that you have to do 20 commands with that one block just maybe to copy and paste stuff. It's really annoying and would be a lot simpler if we could just have xbox play
anywhere so that I can just play this on pc. That or fix the controls for xbox.

It’ absurd that Minecraft isn’t a Play Anywhere title. Minecraft is Microsofts flagship game and the Better Together Update was supposed to become a Play Anywhere title. Now I have to pay 20 bucks again? Just to play Minecraft on an other Microsoft plattform?
Why? What is the reason for Play Anywhere, when even Microsoft don’t want to support this?

It seems Microsoft is going the Sony way, if they have a successful product. Just make money, don’t respect your customers. Sad :\

Agreed. Will not buy it until it becomes a play anywhere title.

    Minecraft Play anywhere

I'm with you. I wish that there was a Play Anywhere edition of Minecraft, but I think that there are good reasons why.

The Win10 version also includes VR whereas the Xbox and mobile versions do not (not including GearVR).

Are you looking to get that because of cloud save? ME TOO!
