Minecraft PE storage permission problem

I think you need to allow storage permission for Minecraft PE:

System settings > Apps > Select Minecraft > Go into permissions and allow storage permissions.

If I got it right, this is the Minecraft PE you are having problems with. Have you somehow tried to reinstall the game? If so, try to force stop the app as well before you launch it.

This can be done via the settings of your phone. Go to storage settings, then local storage, apps and games, Minecraft. Click on app permissions and give it access to contacts and storage. Then use the Force Stop. Next time you open Minecraft it should let you log in normally.

In case the same problem persist, close the game again. Try downloading an Xbox app first on your mobile and sign in your Microsoft account there, once signed in go back and open the game and try signing in.
