Minecraft parental controls and its problems with downloading the game

If you're on PC try this:

Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available (Install optional updates as well)

Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services and update everything too.

Then do this:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then reset

Then do the same for the Xbox app:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then reset

Finally sign out from both Microsoft store and Xbox app from the account that owns the game and do this:

Step 1: Open the Run window by pressing Windows + R key.

Step 2: Input WSReset.exe in the Run window and click OK.

Step 3: Then a command prompt window will appear. After a few seconds, Windows Store will open.

Sign on both apps and try again

Its likely because its unrated, but I am not sure why it won't download after you turned off the parental controls. What I would do is use the parent account to download it. Once that is done the other profiles on the same xbox should be able to play the
game.

maybe its something to do with xbox store and minecraft like maybe they are having problems hold the big x button on the control then it should come up with turn console of turn controller of or restart press restart it should restart ur xbox and then
try downloading minecraft again

Considering its a 18+ game, you cant parental control on it. Its for a mature audience. Im pretty sure if you use Parental control on it you wont be able to play the game at all.

You could ask the owner of the adult account to disable parental controls, and download the game that way. Then, when you are done downloading the game, the adult can turn the parental controls back on.
