Minecraft online restricted

Hey,
Before the migration of Minecraft from Mojang to Microsoft, I was able to play Minecraft online with friends and everything, but post-migration, it says it has been restricted, and the only way to change this to leaving current Microsoft family, but I'm not in one, I will be 22 in a week and still have account restrictions of a child. sorry for bad English, it is not my first language.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

For you to manage it you can simply sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings.

If the system detects that your account is a child account you will be redirected to a support site and if not you will be able to change it successfully.

If you were redirected to a support page, please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/family and check if there is an organizer account linked to your account then use the organizer account so sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings then "allow" the setting on this screenshot:

I've turned all my sons restrictions off and he still can't play online. We have had so many issues with the account restrictions, I guess it's time to create fake profiles with over 18 ages just so my kids can play Minecraft...

the only thing is what are the restrictions to join or i mean how do you join someone thats not a friend

and how do you have a active online server on minecraft for the the Xbox 360

I don't have an Xbox though. It is games connected to my Microsoft account. and when I find ways to fix it, it leads me to solutions that require an Xbox.
