Minecraft online for the PS4

with the recent update to Minecraft on the ps4 i bought a few maps and i want to play then with my friends, but it tells me that my privacy settings need to change, and it gives me a link. I type the link on my phone and it brings me to an article about
how Microsoft's settings work and i can change it on my Windows 10 device. I then type the link on my "Windows 10 device" and it tells me to click a link to the Xbox website and to go to profile then privacy settings, which i do but it then brings me back
to the original website where it told me to go to the Xbox website, which means I'm in a loop. I tried looking for it on other peoples problems but i couldn't find anything. Does anyone know what i can do, cause i wasted $25 on this for nothing.

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are experiencing difficulties with being able to configure your Xbox Live Privacy settings.

If you follow
this link, you should be able to see the option that reads Privacy and online safety, you should be prompted to verify your identify, since what you are attempting to configure should be done only by the owner of this account.

Once that is done, you will have the ability to configure your Xbox Live Privacy settings. You may way to attempt using an alternate browser if you are continuing to experiencing difficulties with accessing this site.

First of all you should not be a user of the beta version of minecraft since this version is only available on Windows, Android and Xbox. If this is not the case, PS4 users have to have an xbox account which they must start in the game.
Once you and PS4 users are logged in to Xbox and have the same version in Minecraft, they will be able to view their games online in the "Friends" tab, regardless of platform.

Try following some of the steps over on the official site and FAQ for Minecraft Bedrock for PS4. If none of that works, you may need to adjust some of his privacy settings to allow for online play.
