Minecraft on xbox series x wont work

Same problem but all Xbox one games wont work on my Series X ... thats a joke

Got it. If those games were part of Game Pass that most likely the reason why you can't access them. Unless you owned or purchased those games under your account. It's possible that someone made your console as their home Xbox which means sharing their games and subscription to your old console.

Does the issue happen to Minecraft game only? How about your other games? Do you have an active Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate subscription?

Please also verify your Minecraft game order through your account order history on https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/. Check if it's there and says completed. Because if it's not there, possible that you bought it using a different account.

Setting your account's home Xbox to your new console didn't affect it. It is because you're using your own account. Even if you didn't switch your your home Xbox, it would still be the same. If you had a friend who shared their subscription or games to your old console, you should ask them to set it up again and switch it to your new console. Other than that, you could simply purchase subscription under your account so you can access your Game Pass games without the need of home Xbox or game sharing. Please note that playing games online or multiplayer requires Xbox Live Gold, you may instead get the Game Pass Ultimate which includes Gold.

Oh ok so when i was setting up my new xbox it asked if this one wants to be my home xbox i selected yes not really fully understanding thinking it wont really affect anything so if i switch back my home xbox to my old xbox one will my xbox gold subscription and everything work or did I mess up and may need to rebuy my subscriptions? Also forgot to mention it wont let me play any game even if its game pass or not and it says i need to install it which isn't that big of a problem but with the games that cost money it wants me to pay for it.
