I wanted to try something here for anyone who has already deleted any worlds or data or have not reset their Xbox in the past to resolve this issue. For users with multiple profiles, has anyone tried completely removing their profile and then readding it to the Xbox?

And in addition, has anyone used the "Delete All" feature for Minecraft on their Xbox? This may result in the loss of worlds on the console across all platforms (clearing cloud save data).

Please do not attempt these steps if you want to keep your worlds.

I want to see if this is tied to a profile issue on Xbox that relates to Minecraft and how the cloud save/data is interacting that might cause lag spikes.

To respond to some of the questions and clarify if it hasn't been clarified already. Most of these seem to hold true for everyone, I will put the one's I am unsure of seperately.

Confirmed by multiple people:

1. Minecraft will start "freezing" after a couple minutes into game. Slowly at first and frequency goes up as you keep playing.

2. Minecraft can be "unfrozen" by hitting the X-Box home button.

3. Minecraft only "freezes" on one account not every account.

4. The "freeze" happens in every game mode

4. Minecraft only freezes if that account player is moving, (account can be on and logged in to the game and as long as it is doing nothing the game is not affected)

5. If cross platforming or logged into multiple systems, only the system running the "bugged" account is affected.

6. The "freeze" is not an actual freeze but more of a graphic/control "freeze" the screen stops moving and all control buttons hit during the freeze are unrecorded, however, time and all other movement and interaction in the game continues, i.e. mobs moving, daylight movement, TNT explosions, Etc.

7. If the home button is not pressed the game will "unfreeze" itself after a duration of 30 seconds- 1 minute.

8. Did not occur until shortly after Bedrock edition 2nd phase was rolled out.

For me:

1. Happens on my oldest account and the purchasing account. Also the account that controls the worlds played.

Fixes attempted, all unsuccessful:

1. Cache cleared

2. Uninstall/Reinstall

3. Removal of all unused worlds

4. Exitting all background applications

5. Changing game setting on graphic interface to several different settings to reduce graphics load

6. Changing in game outfits to default outfits

7. Create copy of world to play in

So,I found the reports submitted. We are investigating the issue being seen here. I cannot promise a resolution, but I can let you know that it is being looked into and that if I recieve any updates I can share, I will share them here so everyone can be knowledgeable and in the loop.

I still highly recommend any new users or existing who have not submitted a report to do so and add [Xbox Forums] to their title.
