    Minecraft on Xbox 360 backwards compatibility


    This has been bugging me for a while. I own Minecraft on 360 and the Windows 10 store, however I have no way of playing Minecraft on my Xbox One. This doesn't make sense to me that I have to fork out more money to play a game I own twice through you guys.
    I don't even get a discount for owning either of these versions and I expect that the 360 game will never come to backwards compatibility. This is blatant abuse of the customer and I would like to know if it's possible for this to be changed.

    South Park is backwards compatible.

    Any digital 360 items that you bought that are backwards compatible should be in your install list under "my games & apps",then "games" & scroll to the far right as long as you are using the same account that bought them on the 360.

    Your Minecraft skins & texture packs should be there but you would need to buy the xbox one version of Minecraft.

    No. Minecraft is not backwards compatible.

    There has been no announcement about all 360 games working on the One. Only games that are backwards compatible will work.

    Minecraft Xbox 360 is not backwards compatible with Xbox One, and is unlikely to be as the game is no longer supported. Youll need to contact support.
