    My son's XBOX 1 remotes were not connecting to the XBOX. I found online that if you reset the console it helps with connection and won't get rid of any games. Unfortunately, it did get rid of Minecraft. When we purchased the XBOX 1 it came with the Minecraft bundle. I am not able to use the code again. I spoke to someone at XBOX 1 and he advised that the game would probably be under the first account signed up with XBOX. I thought I logged in to all the original accounts but I think there may be one more but it is so old I don't remember the email address. I do not want to buy Minecraft for the XBOX 1 as we once had it. It doesn't seem like anyone can help me recover it. Any suggestions to help?

    You do not, as long as you use the account that you purchased minecraft with. For example, If you bought minecraft with Profile(1), you could log on as profile(1) on any other Xbox and download minecraft for free, you can only do this if profile(1) has
    an Xbox live membership, you must also be connected to Internet at all times in order to play minecraft on the new xboxes.

    Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums. As Ambassador Smwutches has previously stated, if you would like to play Minecraft on the Xbox One
    you will need to get the version of Minecraft for the Xbox One console. However, it will not be the one that reads as "Minecraft: Xbox One Edition" as that version is no longer viable. It will be this version which I will link

    here     for you that simply states "Minecraft". Additionally, if you would like to play Minecraft on your Windows 10 PC you will have to purchase the

    Minecraft for Windows 10     version which I also linked for you.
