    Minecraft on windows 10 - xbox ultimate game pass


    Hi

    I have just purchased the xbox ultimate games pass. This is to be able to access minecraft for windows 10 for my son to a laptop.

    However, when I login into my microsoft account and set up to download minecraft for windows 10, it is only available for a 7 day free trial or for purchase.

    Can anyone help me with details of how download this version of minecraft through the ultimate games pass?

    Minecraft for Windows 10 is NOT on Game Pass. Only Minecraft for Xbox is. However, Minecraft Dungeons
    WILL be available on Win10/Xbox on May 26th.

    Thank you for reaching out to the forum. Minecraft is not a Play Anywhere title, and must be purchased separate for each platform.

    If using Game Pass:

    • Xbox Game Pass: Grants access to Minecraft Dungeons  Standard Edition on Xbox One
    • Xbox Game Pass for PC: Grants access to Minecraft Dungeons  Standard Edition on Windows 10 PCs
    • Xbox Game Pass Ultimate: Grants access to Minecraft Dungeons  Standard Edition on Windows 10 PCs and Xbox One

    Tezzarrific is correct The Java edition and windows 10 version of minecraft are two separate games also they are both running on different updates most java and bedrock editions of mine craft have already been launched into 16.0 Patch Windows 10 edition
    "Xbox/PC Controller Compatible Version" are still stuck in 14.6 patch. But I could recommend upgrading to the Ultimate Game Pass and get the Microsoft Windows 10 version free with Game Pass.
