    Hi guys - I've just been chatting with Xbox live support for an hour and they could not help me. Maybe you can?

    I've just bought Minecraft on Apple Tv. The app is great and works just fine.

    I noticed that I'm able to login to my Xbox live account which is great.. then I'm able to play my saved minecraft Ipad games. Wow...

    To do this you have to follow these 6 simple steps:





    1. On the title screen, select the Sign in button next to the Xbox logo.
    2. You'll get a URL to enter in a web browser on your phone or PC and a code with 8 characters.
    3. Open the link on your phone or browser and enter the 8-character code.
    4. If the code has been entered correctly, you'll see the sign-in screen. Enter your Microsoft account on the first screen, then press Next to enter your password.
    5. Once you've successfully signed in, you'll see an "All done!" message on your phone or device, and you'll be automatically signed into your account on your Apple TV.
    6. If you see an error while entering your 8-character code, the original code you received may have timed out. If this happens, close and select the Sign in button to restart the sign-in process.

    But here's the problem - everytime I enter my 8 digit code I always get this message straight away:

    We're unable to complete your request

    Microsoft account is experiencing technical problems. Please try again later.

    This happens everytime and I've been trying a LOT of times...

    connexion to xbox live from minecraft apple tv

    I cannot connect to xbox live with the apple tv edition of minecraft. There have been an upgrade of minecraft on my phone and my apple tv version doesn't work anymore

    Switching to creative mode in Apple TV Edition

    i am new to Minecraft. Just installed Minecraft on my Apple TV. My son is asking to change to creative mode and I don’t see that option is enabled. There are instructions for pocket edition, but not sure if there are any for Apple TV. Could not find in my
    search. If it is possible, please direct me on how to switch to Creative Mode in Minecraft Apple TV edition. Thanks.

    I am having the exact same issue sofiaherholdt reported yesterday. i can play the MC Apple TV edition just fine but whenever i try to link to my microsoft account i put in the 8 digit code and immediately get the error she listed. This has been going on
    for more than a week so i know its not a temporary issue. please help!

    Playing Minecraft between devices and platforms

    You can play Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition with other devices running Minecraft: Pocket Edition, such as Windows 10 and Windows Phone devices.
    If you have Minecraft: Apple TV Edition, you can play locally with other players running a version of Minecraft: Pocket Edition. Visit Minecraft: Apple TV Edition overview

    Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition can only be played with other Xbox 360 consoles on Xbox Live. The Xbox One edition can only be played online with other Xbox One consoles. There is no cross-platform play between the Xbox editions and other editions of Minecraft.

    Trouble connecting Minecraft Apple TV edition to iOS PE.

    We have the same issues with the Apple products. They don't seem to be updating the Apple TV or the Mac, and it's dissapointing because we paid the same price for the game that everyone on the PC did, and the Apple TV Minecraft edition wasn't cheap. The
    iOS Minecraft seems to be updated with the 'Bedrock' update, while they are holding back on the Apple TV update to even make them playable with Realms.

    We used to be able to access on Apple TV, but now just have a message where Realms used to be saying "You need to update your game to continue playing Realms.", and yes it is updated, and it's been saying this for months. I need to update? It's Microsoft with
    needs to update the game to be playable NOT ME. And trying to play with friends on the same network now it tries to connect and then disconnects. It's really too bad.

    If I was conspiratorial, I might think they are purposefully not updating the Apple TV or Mac versions of Minecraft for some reason. Hmmm.

    Any idea on Apple TV Edition Better Together Update will come out?

    It's kind of upsetting that you can buy this game, yet for months it's had broken functionality. Can't connect with others on the same network, and can't connect to Realms (which we pay for, but why bother if Microsoft won't update for the Apple TV?). I
    bought a controller especially to play with Minecraft on the Apple TV, and it doesn't work.

    PLEASE UPDATE the Apple TV edition, Microsoft!

    I have the same issue. The Apple TV produces sound in all other applications so it's a problem with Minecraft.
