Minecraft not working or installing on my Series X

I tried to install Minecraft on my Series X and it gets to 95 percent then stops. It installs and plays fine on my Series S so i took the solid state drive from the Series X and put it in my Series S and installed it to the drive there. Then i took the solid state drive and put it in my Series X and the game will not play. I used the same account and all products are Microsoft. Any ideas?

When you say the game will not play, is there any specific error messages/ codes or it just won't launch? Also, does this happen only on Minecraft or all of your games?

I have the same issue with Minecraft on my Series X. I tried all of the above multiple times, including trying a hard reset on my 2-day-old Series X and it still isn't working. I've resorted to playing on my Xbox one. Please help, I'd like to play Minecraft on my new console!

But the same account works on my switch. And don’t say oh use the switch I want tonuse the power of the series x on minecraft but its not working.

I like playing older versions of Minecraft, but more specifically Minecraft: Legacy edition. I want to purchase a copy of Minecraft: Xbox One edition for my Xbox Series X console. Will I be able to play the legacy version, or be forced to play Bedrock?
