    Minecraft not installing or updating on my new series x


    I own a digital version of Minecraft bedrock edition ever since I moved over from using a physical disk for the now discontinued Minecraft: Xbox One Edition. I have a subscription to Xbox gamepass ultimate, I have more than enough storage on my series x
    and my console is connected to the internet. This issue has occurred on my old Xbox one on version 1.16.100 and on my series x on version 1.16.200, I tried to uninstall the game but I can't reinstall the game. It doesn't display a download speed in the queue
    and stays stuck at 0.0% no matter how long I left it. I left it to update overnight and still nothing.

    My new Xbox Series X is doing the exact same thing! It only seems to be happening when it's downloading. When it installs the update, it gets quiet again. It's really annoying!

    Xbox Series X games / upgrades / updates has to be installed onto the Series X internal or expansion card SSD,

    You can have Xbox One games on your external hard drive that will get an Series X upgrade but the games will need to be transferred to the Series X and then the Series X upgrade will need to be downloaded onto the Series X SSD,

    As an example...

    I have Marvel Avengers on my external hard drive that will get the Series X upgrade and I will transfer the game over to the Series X SSD ready to download and update the game to the Series X version when available.

    Update. The game will not load on my series X with any dlc installed. Only the base game.

    It will load with dlc installed on the new profile. But I don't have access to the dlc since that profile doesn't own the dlc.

    It will load on the Xbox one with dlc.

    I have the same issue with Minecraft on my Series X. I tried all of the above multiple times, including trying a hard reset on my 2-day-old Series X and it still isn't working. I've resorted to playing on my Xbox one. Please help, I'd like to play Minecraft on my new console!
