Minecraft not discounted?

Just got off the phone with support. They did the same for me as herbal above. Checked to make sure I had a license, checked and saw I play regularly, then added a $15 gamer credit to my account to cover all but what I should be charged. WOOT! Now unfortunately
the world upload isn't working so I can't play my maps, but that probably is a 4J studio server issue.

Anyone else having an issue I suggest calling! It will get them to help you or get them to notice the issue.b good luck.

Tried getting the $15 credit. Wouldn't give it to me. I even linked this thread.

support sucks as all they can do is read from the morning memo!!Like a bunch of dam robots!!

 

I tried calling, and they wouldn't give me that option. The support person I talked to kept giving me a round-about about how she was unsure exactly what policy they would be using with the discounted upgrade because there was no specific deadline given
of when it would end. Because of this, she said I would have to wait for the upgrade.

She said though that there is no reason for the discount to end yet, as it is still on the xbox website. And she also attributed the other minecraft 360 uploading map issue with them possibly trying to fix the upgrade problem. She was unsure though. No clue
when the problem would be fixed.

However, she did say that they are keeping note of everyone that notifies them about the issue, so take that how you wish.

 

Got an XBOX ONE this weekend and this is the only game my kids wanted to play.....Got the mo ey in the account to buy the discounted one but no go yet.

I did the request a call that way all the information is waiting for them before they even dial out to you, also they take notes, so if you phone once they noted what you are saying and usually send out an email, I would also suggest speaking with a person
in support that actually knows about the issues and ways to solve it for you, if it worked for me, it can work for you. ASK for a different PERSON that knows about the issue and about fixing it for you.

Same problem here. Maybe we could get a mod to look into this? I really hate dealing with support. I usually get an imbecile or a jerk.

 

I'm also having the issue wherein whenever I make an attempt to download this game on the Xbox One, it still appears to be full price, although I paid for the Xbox 360 Edition.

 

I've been calling support for about a week now for my younger brothers account (this gamertag). I bought him an Xbox One for Christmas. The day he told me about wanting Minecraft, it WAS showing that it was 4.99. However he didn't have enough in his account
to buy it. So the next morning i went and bought a card to add money to his account. I refuse to add any kind of credit card to Microsofts database.

When i go to buy it, it says $19.99. I called a handful of times over the week and kept getting some BS answers. At first they wanted me to go back and have him play the 360 version some more. Really?

Last person i spoke to i told that they've made this experinece from Christmas day and their hacking, and now this crap absolutely HORRIBLE. The rep sounded offended that i mentioned the hack. He said it was just too many people trying to get online. I told
him for $60 a year, there should never be "too many people".

Anyway, the poor kid has been dying to play it. So i just said F it and paid the $19.99. When i get around to it, i'm going to call and curse them out, and get them to credit the account.

Microsoft, you're terrible.

Why should we waste like an extra $20.00 on a phone bill to support just for them to say they fix it cause they wont there just useless robot repeating im sorry i cant help you

 

I spoke to Support who suggested playing the game on the 360 and waiting 24-48 hours. After 24 hours the price was discounted. IT WORKS IF U WAIT 24 HOURS!!!
