Minecraft not discounted?

I wanted to purchase minecraft for xbox one finally and when I went to the game it said I had to pay full price. I have the digital copy of minecraft xbox 360 and it also stats that it could still be purchased for 4.99$ on xbox.com as of 9:42 pm 12/31/14
but when I clicked on that it went to 20 dollars as well and just the other day it was at that discounted price. Is this a glitch or intentional? I have tried most things....EVEN TURNED OFF AND ON THE CIRCUIT BREAKER..seriously though I have waited to see
if its a glitch or not and attempting everything in my power but it still comes up 20 dollars.

Minecraft

I'm pretty sure Minecraft is just Minecraft. One game, Minecraft. There is also Minecraft story mode, that is a very different game, a telltale series.

 

Lego Worlds XB1 (21 Feb 2017)

Is this like Minecraft? I along with a few other adults have spent quite a lot of time building a city etc in Minecraft, but if this is anything like Minecraft then I might give it a shot as I use to love Lego

 

I had the same problem. I thought maybe when I went to pay for it I would only get charged $5. Nope. $20 plus tax. I went into my purchase history and minecraft on 360 doesn't show up but my texture packs and skin packs do. But then I check the game on the
Xbox one none of my skins are unlocked. Pretty annoying

 

The discount is until they put a date on it, if the site shows it's available for 4.99$ It's available for 4.99 for those who own the 360 version.

I was on the phone for a good hour with Greg from Support and he told me they are looking into it and many people are having this issue.

I can wait but it really sucks as I have till Monday and I'm back working like a mad man.

THE 4.99$ upgrade is still available.

 

I also have this issue. Showed up discounted before Christmas and tonight it is only showing up as full price.

 

Same issue. Hopefully fixed soon, friend just got an xbox one and only game as minecraft, was gonna buy it tonight.

 

Same!!! Got an X1 in the Boxing Day sales!!! Looked at the price for it and it said £3.49 and the day I put credit on my account it said it was £13.49!!! My kids are gutted!!!

 

Ditto here. I can get all the dlc I owen fir free but the game still shows full retail..

 

Me too I don't understand why it's £13.59 even though I own and have achievements in it on 360

 

I'm requesting a call from support now. See if they have any new information about this..

 

Phone Support people, the guy just did it for me, what he did was he put money on my account and I paid the 19.99$, so I had 26$ on my account not my credit card but my Microsoft Account like if you use a 15$ card it goes onto a separate account, he added
the difference...

So I had 26, he put money on my account, bring it up over 40$ I bought Minecraft and still have 19.90 or something. so it would have been 26$ minus 4.99 after taxes like 6 or so...

It worked out for me I am pumped to play!!

PHONE Support and ask for this option.

 

So far it's been 24hrs since I started using my XboX one. I've used minecraft everyday for the last week. DLC I purchased TODAY shows free but the game is still full price. Contacting support gave me the 24hr wait BS. I would honestly be fine if they just
started,"we're experiencing issue now and please keep checking" but instead keep pulling the stereotypical IT line.

Just acknowledged there's a bloody issue or address the problem microsoft.

Side note: tried the fix where you send a upload save from the 360 to trigger the account, all my world uploads keep failing. Not sure if it's related.

 

Yeah well the bad in me thinks they plan on people just paying the full price...

It only shows that the 4.99 upgrade is available on the website... Which is very strange.

I hope you figure it out and I would hope that support do what they did for me and make it right.

 

Thanks. The thing is its been the holidays so most of their effort is probably working keeping the servers going with the new console purchases. Some programmer probably missed updating something before going home for the holidays. What makes me mad is support
not acknowledging an issue and pulling the same instructions on the site. If it's temporarily broken, say so.
