Minecraft not connecting to online games on xbox

Actually, the latest version for Minecraft is v1.19.10 according to its official changelog:

If the Minecraft on your son's Xbox is at 1.19.2, please try to uninstall the game, power reset the console and install the game again:

1​​. Turn off your console and your router/modem.

2. Unplug all the cables from both devices (power, HDMI, etc..) and wait 2 minutes.

3. After 2 minutes, plug all the cables in again on your router/modem and wait for all the lights to show up.

​​​4. Plug all the cables on your console and turn it on.

Microsoft is busy working on the servers, don't know what's wrong but its been awhile now and every game that requires online or is online doesn't work and because Minecraft can be played offline but connects with the servers first it cause the game to lag
or in my case my Xbox froze several time. If you want to get it to work for now while the servers is a mess, disconnect your Xbox completely from the network and go in to Minecraft, they will tell you there is no connection and ask if you want to reconnect
with Xbox live or play offline, just say play offline and play that way untill servers is back online

Minecraft Better Together. The original version of Minecraft is called ”Minecraft: Xbox One Edition.” The new version is just called “Minecraft.” You will see the name of the game on the splash-screen when you launch it.

You will need an Xbox Live Gold subscription (sold separately) to use the following online features within Minecraft:

• Realms
• Connecting to servers
• Cross-platform play

For local multiplayer you will not need an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Minecraft Realms is a subscription-based service that lets you play Minecraft online with up to 10 players. Check out

It could be problems on Minecraft's end, as connecting in Minecraft worlds seems to be a fairly regular problem for many people. One thing is to check your in-game settings in Minecraft and make sure that online play with friends is actually checked off
to allow it. Sometimes when first starting a game, it defaults to not being enabled. So I would double check that first and make sure that your game is set up to allow online play.

And only Minecraft is experiencing this issue? You can connect to other games using the same Xbox account and play online? If so, I would recommend contacting Mojang Support because it is only occurring through their game. If not, there may connectivity issues with your account to the Xbox Network that we can troubleshoot. But if it is not occurring in any other game, you need to contact Mojang Support.
