    so i just tried to play on minecraft ()not the xbox one edition) and it gave me the error code that goes with trial games and ive had the game for some time i uninstaled it to try and fix it but now i have to pay for it? even though i just had it and was
    playing on it yesterdaywithout any issues what is going on? (also i dont have a playpass nor getting one)

    Hey there, just a heads up for everybody including the ambassadors that are just starting to read this. There is an issue with Minecraft where even those that bought the game recently or many years prior, it’s asking them to sign up for game pass saying
    they don’t own the game. I think I’ve already talked to about 40 people today through Twitter and come to find out I think it’s on Minecraft server side. Looks to be a “wait and see” issue As I still haven’t seen it on Xbox support Twitter feeds yet

    Did you purchase the game before or did you get a free upgrade for playing the Xbox One Edition for more than 5 hours when there was a promotion running?

    Edit. Seems to be a problem with the free upgrade at the moment.

    There are a crazy amount of people experiencing this issue. Microsoft support should have it fixed soon since it has affected so many people. DO NOT REBUY THE GAME.
