Minecraft + Nintendo Switch - You cannot play online multiplayer Error

Hello,

I have followed the instructions online to allow my child to play online multiplayer, changed the settings, clicked submit, as shown in the screenshots, logged out, logged in into the Nintendo Switch, for which I have a current Nintendo Switch Online subscription, and it still shows the online multiplayer error/realms. Can somebody guide me? Thank you.

Does she have a Nintendo switch online subscription? It is required if she will be playing an online multiplayer game such as Minecraft.

Can I play Realms on this edition?

Yes, Realms is available on the Bedrock edition of Minecraft for Nintendo Switch. To play online on a Nintendo Switch, you need to have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, so this is a requirement for playing on Realms. More information about Nintendo Switch Online can be found here.

Furthermore, can you post the entire error message (better a screenshot/photo)?

When you sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings kindly “block” these settings if they’re already on “allow” then submit and after that “allow” again then submit.
