Did you purchase it on Microsoft Store or minecraft.net?

Did you purchase the game via Minecraft.net, or via the Microsoft Store?

They should be able to help you with retrieving the Transaction ID if the game was purchased via Minecraft.net.

However, if you purchased the game via the Microsoft store, the game should appear listed in your Microsoft account order history:

Java Edition you will have to purchase from Mojang website. minecraft.net as the Java Edition is not available on Microsoft store for purchase.

I think I've always downloaded my Minecraft launcher from Minecraft.net rather than from the Microsoft Store.
