    Minecraft needs Windows Hello?


    Tried to open Minecraft through a modpack in Curseforge, and it said the password was incorrect. It said the exact same thing yesterday, so i reset it, assuming I didn't remember because I hadn't played in a while. But today, the new password isn't working. So i decided to try signing in the normal way. Not only did it not remember my account being logged in, it tried to make me use the dumb ****ing Windows Hello thing. Whenever I closed the Windows Hello window, it closed the normal login window as well. So I tried to log into Windows Hello, and it still said the password was wrong. So I tried to reset it again, but it said that 'this option isn't working' or something when I tried to send myself a text.

    The account I'm using on my computer and the account I'm signing in to Minecraft with are two different accounts by the way, so I can't really set up a PIN for Windows Hello on that account, unless there's some way to do that on a mobile device.

    Try to remove the PIN, to see if it works, because it's asking you because you have it.

    Go to Settings > Accounts > Login Options.

    Click Windows Hello PIN.

    Click the Remove button.

    I looked at my current Minecraft Windows 10 version on PC and its 1.15.53.0.

    Do you have your Windows up to date? Maybe you need to have it at the latest version to be able to download the latest Minecraft from the store.

    Unfortunately, Windows 10 uses a different version of minecraft. So you would need to purchase both versions of minecraft to play on Xbox and Windows 10. I’ll link them both here for your convenience.
