Minecraft multiplayer Xbox 1

My friends and I have always connected on Minecraft Xbox one with each others worlds. But now we can not go to anyone's worlds. (It has been about a month) At first it was saying the server was outdated. So we opened new worlds. Now it says we are unable to connect to the world (of the host). We have checked the NAT which is where it is supposed to be and everyone has the settings of an adult. But no one can connect and the multiplayer settings are all greyed out.

Please answer the following questions to assist you properly :
Is this happening only with this specific friend and vice versa?

May I know if you or your friend tried creating a new world and see if you can play with them again?
What are your NAT type? (Also what's their NAT type?)
And, what did you tried so far to fix this problem?
In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

In the meantime, this can be a bit dumb but may I know if you tried deleting your friend from your friends list?
If not, please do it (ask them to do the same)

After that, try waiting a couple minutes and add them again and give it a new try

To access multiplayer in Minecraft beta edition, you can follow these steps:

1. Enable multiplayer in Xbox settings
2. Open your web browser and navigate to the official Xbox website.
3. Sign in with your credentials.
4. Now, click on the Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Security tab.
5. Make sure the “You can join multiplayer games” option is allowed.

Remember that to enter the Minecraft beta in this case, On Windows 10 and 11, you need to own the original Minecraft game and subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass to try upcoming Minecraft features.

If yes and if you're trying to play Minecraft on Xbox or PC?
If you're on Xbox and all the multiplayer settings are correct, verify if you have an Xbox Live Gold subscription active (required to play minecraft and most of the paid games on Xbox)

1. Make sure that your child's account has the appropriate permissions to play multiplayer games. You can check this by going to the Xbox family app and selecting your child's account. Then, select "Content restrictions" and make sure that "Allow" is selected for "Join multiplayer games."

2. Check the Minecraft game settings to make sure that multiplayer is enabled. To do this, open Minecraft and go to "Options" > "Multiplayer Settings." Make sure that "Multiplayer" is set to "On."
