Minecraft multiplayer not working for child account though all setup done

Hi, thanks but I’m relatively experienced user. So I was aware of all above and a few more.

So for multiplayer games all is set as necessary in Xbox safety settings - either to allowed / all or not filtered.

We have waited 24 hours after setting change, we’ve logged him out from Minecraft launcher and back in. But still he sees for both Java/bedrock multiplayer locked…

In 365 subscription management he is added of course.

But still it doesn’t work.

There is sthg wrong somewhere else.

Can someone check the account sync with family setting is proper as it should work according to settings set. But it doesn’t…

Last option I see is to remove him from family and then add him back in, but I leave it as literally last option…

Please sign in the parent/Organizer account here: https://www.xbox.com/user/settings/privacy-and-... then click on your account.

Choose the option: "In Privacy & Online Safety, click Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety."
Scroll down to the second option from the bottom, stating “You can join multiplayer games“. Set this to Allow.
And include the followingo: You can join multiplayer games: Set to Allow.
You can create and join clubs: Set to Allow.
Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites: Set to Everyone or Friends.
Click Submit to save your changes.

Please test it out and see if it works.

For the Family 365 subscription please confirm it by logging into your Family admin account at Microsoft account services. Verify the Microsoft 365 Family Subscription is active and shared with your child’s account.

Next is to check shared plan by visiting your Microsoft family account page: https://account.microsoft.com/family.
Make sure that the subscription is shared with your child’s account.
If not, kindly re-send an invite to their Microsoft email.

I know. I've done all this before. His account has my CC already setup and he's requested Minecraft in the past and it all worked fine.

It's just not working for this. When I try, it specifically says that PC Game Pass cannot be requested for purchase this way.

If your account and privacy settings are setup correctly this may mean that you don’t have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription which is required to play a paid online multiplayer game such as Minecraft.

Can you please check what subscription you have? It’s either Xbox Live Gold subscription or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and not Game Pass for Console.

“Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select System > Settings > Account > Subscriptions.”
