Minecraft Multiplayer Microsoft Account Error

My boyfriend recently downloaded minecraft bedrock on his Xbox One, and when he loaded the game for the first time he got an error similar to, "Your Microsoft account does not allow multiplayer because the way your account is set up". We tried for 3 days straight, everything that we could find online (Change the setting on his micrsoft account to allow multiplayer, set his account as a parent account, take him out of the family group, put him back into the family group and set him as a child and change his settings as the parent, checked his NAT ((working fine)), unistalled the game, signed out of all accounts, checked his wifi connection, checked his xbox gold ((good)), we even waited a few months for the game to just rework, which worked for me). We have assured its not any of the settings, and its not my end. Im not sure it matters, but Im playing on Windows 10 Bedrock Edition. Can anyone help?

Hello! I havent been able to check the expiration date, but we tried all of these things and none of them worked :/ As far as I know, his xbox gold dosent expire for a while

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Kindly let me know when will the Xbox Live Gold subscription will expire.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select System > Settings > Account > Subscriptions.

Also, please have him remove and re-add his account to re-sync it.

REMOVE ACCOUNT

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.

4. When you're finished, select Close.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

ADD ACCOUNT

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select Add new.

3. Enter the Email address and the password.

4. Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept.

5. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In & Security preferences to add your Microsoft account to your Xbox console.
