Minecraft multiplayer, family group issues

May I know exactly the device you're using to play the Minecraft game? Xbox console or PC?

If you're the organizer of the family group, you cannot leave but remove your members. My suggestion here is to remove all your members then create a new adult account. From the new account, add your main account as a member of the family. Then use that new account to manage your Xbox Privacy settings on https://account.xbox.com/Settings and on https://family.microsoft.com/

I am having the exact same issue. I am an adult, but as I am the only member of the family group I am not allowed to leave it. It prevents me from playing multiplayer Minecraft with my family, and the only way to get out of that is by leaving the family group which I cannot do. Is there a way around this?
