    i cant tell without buying and i dont have many friends to ask but im considering buying minecraft for the x1 but i only have one friend who has it for x360. Will I be able to play online with him?

    Minecraft Xbox Cross-Platform Multiplayer?

    My friend has Minecraft Xbox One Edition, and I have the 360 Edition. Are you still able to do multiplayer between the Xbox One and 360 versions?

    Are you asking if minecraft has cross plate multiplayer? It's not even in the same ballpark with PC content wise, I highly doubt that would ever be a thing. I didn't even think Diablo 3 was cross platform multiplayer, but the way you stated your question
    made it sound like you've played with your friend on his PC before.

    If you're asking if you can play in the same network, you can. The same world? No way.

    If I still haven't answered your question, I suggest re-stating it because it barely made sense.

    Cross-platform play available on Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and Windows 10. Cross-play requires
    Microsoft account. Xbox Live Gold required for online multiplayer on Xbox One. PlayStation Plus Membership required for online multiplayer on Playstation 4. Nintendo Switch Online membership required for online multiplayer on Nintendo Switch.

    Yes your rank and level will stay with you. On a side note gamestop is doing a promotion where you can get 50 bucks trade in for your game if it goes to the purchase of the same game for the xbox one.

    That's not how it works. Different console, different rank up. Achievements/unlocks/rank/stats do not carry over.
